This position is responsible for supporting the day to day purchasing, logistics and Trade Compliance operations requirements. Providing end to end service for international trade needs which includes document preparation, email distribution, communication with agents, broker, carriers and vendors and internal stake holders, issues PO based on business needs. Meet Trade Compliance and Purchasing department KPI’s, delivery follow-up, handling of broker/ supplier’s invoices, daily management of special customs procedures and purchasing orders, reducing duty & tax impact of routine imports.
Global Trade Compliance Operations:
• Serve as single point of coordination between Envista Global Trade Compliance, customers (internal and external), Israeli Customs and other government agencies to ensure service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with trade regulations and ABT and Envista objectives.
• Work together with Envista Global Trade Compliance SMEs and Operations associates to ensure compliance of ABT classifications, origins, values, export controls and customs operations.
• Maintain an Item Master List including HS code country of origin, classifications, and capture other government agency requirements on import/export clearance for all parts.
• Track pre-alerts and assist customs brokers during the clearance process by providing them with all necessary data and documentation to comply with import/export regulations and free trade agreements, including but not limited to: HS codes, Values, certificates of origin, proofs of export for returned goods, etc.
• Obtain and coordinate the release of goods from customs or governmental agency examinations that may be required.
• Maintain logs for imports and exports and archiving of related documents.
• Liaise with finance accounting for timely and accurate payment of import duties
